Zelda Wii Gameplay

There are new rumors flying around the zelda-fandom. Some call them leaks from Nintendo, some call the bullsh*t, I think it is something in beetween.

You can read about them on Zelda Informer, in my humble opinion one of the best Zelda-Fansites. (RUMORONI).

Zelda Informer also put up an article about a possible story in a setting that follows up „Majora’s Mask“. (CLICKERONI).

Here is what I think: Some of the rumors are maybe true but only because they are very likely. But I don‘t think too much about the story. Both Miyamoto and Aonuma said that the story is something they care about as soon as the gameplay is done and that the story only is used to bring Link from mission to mission. They even finish the game first and look where in the timeline it could stand. (read on…)

The Life and Times of the Duck family

Well I finished the book. It was sooooo great. Don Rosa himself says that this he does not see his work as the official bio of Scrooge. Actually I don‘t know any other version but if I had to decide if this is the official version or not, I would say YES! I think every artist that draws Disney comics in any country of the world should relate to facts given in this books. The facts themselves are taken from stories by Carl Barks who invented Scrooge. It all goes back to him. (read on…)

Retro-Gameshop in Enschede (NL)

On Saturday me and a friend went to Enschede. There is a gameshop not far from the market. On the ground floor there is the normal gameshop offer, you can get the latest games for the latest consoles. But on the first floor they have the heaven on earth for retro-gamers. You can get everything from A for Atari 2600 to Z for ZX Spektrum. (read on…)

Damn it – Scrooge book Update

Today I can fetch the book from a post shop. I can‘t await. Additionally I found out that the edition I bought contains not only the main story (as I believed) but also all bonus chapters and two extra bonus special chapter as well as some comments by Don Rosa himself. Almost 500 pages!!! OMG since I found that out just 2 minutes ago, I am even looking more forward to it. AAAAAAHAAHAAHAAAAAA I will love this book so much. I already love it before I read it.

I will tell you more about when I read the first chapters. I also found out what went wrong when I ordered the book. When I moved to my new apartment I forgot to change the name on the doorbell. I didn‘t mind cause everybody that visits me knows where to ring and the Deutsche Post always left a little note in my mailbox (that had the right name already) that I could fetch my stuff at the post office. This time the book was delivered by another company called Hermes. So I used the right the adresse, the guy just didn‘t find my doorbell. But they come to the most impossible times when no one that has to work is at home. And won‘t do it like my brother that regularly takes a day off when a new videogame is released. So I am used to fetch my stuff from the post office. Well I can get it from the Hermes Paket Shop that is just 50 meters from my apartment away. I would just have to cross the street, pass the museum and I‘m there. But I‘ll get it on my way home from work, and after that I have to go to the supermarket to fill up my fridge. I have no milk, no cola and no soda water.

Well, follow the little red Don Rosa.

I killed Pikachu!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, die Pikachu, die! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!

Follow the little dead Pikachu!!!

New Logo

So, I tested some things and I find this one quite cool. It is just a space invader taken from an internet site for gaming cliparts. looks good. especially with my ascii-logo back on the left side of the logo. The color is right, too. I‘m close to say it is perfect. But as soon as I find something better I will change it again… and again… and again… and again… and again… and again… and again…

RPM 2010 – How to create song titles and album cover

It is hard to find the right name and look for an album. I guess I will do it this time like this (Except for step 1):

1 – Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random”
or click
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 – Go to Quotations Page and select „random quotations“
or click
The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album or song.

3 – Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 – Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Time for Horror

Don‘t wanna shock you but this is me. This photograph was taken on Friday when I was at a lady friend’s house to babysit her daughter together with her „ex“-boyfriend. She and some of her lady friends were going to one of those weird gothic parties. They looked extremly blackish but still sexy. Guess I should attend those parties more often. We boys made a Dreamcast gaming nite which was cool, too.

Well, I know it’s time for some real professional press photos. I think my popularity is increasing a little bit at the moment. I already had an interview, one more is up to come. My live-show last summer went quite well. I‘m just not very productive atm. I save my energy for RPM next month (RPMARONI) People there are already preparing everything for that project. It was HUGE fun last year. So I can‘t wait for this year’s RPM!!! I already made some updates in my RPM profile just to show I‘m still going to join.

And I caused an EPIC FAIL: when I ordered the comic book last week, I clicked the wrong shipping adresse and everything was delivered to my old adresse. Of course they could not find me there. I worte to the Amazon customer support on Saturday afternoon and they answered quite fast, only some hours later. Now I have to call the delivery company and have to ask them for a new delivery date. I hope it works. The hotline number I got from the customer support is quite expensive, like usual, but I have to go through it. I hope it doesn‘t cause any extra costs.

Well, well, well, Follow the little red UFO!!!

More infos ’bout this comic book (edit)

I have to apologize that I didn‘t give you any information about the comic book I presented you some days ago. It is the official bio of Scrooge McDuck (or in Germany Dagobert Duck) drawn, written and researched by one of the best Disney-Artists Don Rosa. I am a big fan of Don Rosa even though I only have one („The Lost Charts of Columbus“) of his almost 90 comic stories. I love this rough, phyisical and detailed style he has. I think if the Ducks were real, they would look like Don Rosa draws them. (read on…)
